I think its funny that the v8 guys like V8Archie and his nutswingers aren't posting.
Where are the V8Archie vids of motortvakimotos 12 second runs?
You know you always hear from the v8 guys "put a turbo or nitrous on a v8 and it will smoke a v6" Well I guess not in this case huh? What happened sbc guys? A 231 cubic inch v6 is whooping up on a 383 lt1?
No replacement for displacement? Bwhahahahahahah you v8 guys are funny.
Congrats X on your times.

Seeing his post makes me so jealous. I can't wait to get this bitch running properly on the AEM so I can swap over to the turbo. I won't run 10s because of the F23 (or will I?) but I plan to ruin some V8 anythings out there that want to step up. Seems like us V6 guys have video cameras too.
3800t are taking over.
Oh yea, and we're building a 4cyl V8 eater too.

Thats a V8Archie eater right there.Jinxmutt wrote:I just typed this but I don't know what happened to it. I don't feel like typing it all out again. To make it short, the last I know the car hasn't been seen again since the DSM Shootout and he hasn't responded to contact attempts.
Lets not forget Bryson's 400 hp quad 4 turbo fiero.
X lowered it by about 19 inches...I think he's still on cut stock springs. When I rode with him back in his supercharged days, you could feel it transfer even though the body didn't show it much.whipped wrote:So what's the deal with soft springs? Is it better to have 1000lb/in springs in the rear so you don't have any of that deadly squat?
Hi guys,
Sorry I haven't been around much and it's nice to see people still remember the 4g63 Fiero. My son was born on 11/4/07 so it's been slow going on the car and communication.
The car made it to the DSM shootout on my trailer. It did a burnout in the Econolodge parking lot and also down my driveway.

The mess in the center of the driveway is a combination of gas, coolant and oil. I fixed the coolant leak with an elbow from NAPA. Anyway, the car wasn't ready to race at the Shootout because of the leaking and other various concerns when you hack a car together. Plus, it rained on race day.
I brought the car home and it sat on the trailer until, ironically, yesterday. I brought the car down to a buddy's house. We finished up the exhaust (5" tips from Summit FTW) and worked on the gas leaking issue. Turns out when I mounted the shifter cables, I used self tapping sheet metal screws and they went through the floorboard into the gas tank. :thumbleft: One of the -6AN fittings was leaking on the return line as well. So, we ripped out all the stock fuel stuff including the tank and lines. We have begun mounting a 5gal fuel cell in the frunk and I made the -8AN feed line that will go to a Bosch 044 pump feeding the stock DSM fuel rail with AN fittings on it.
That's it for now. Should be running 16's before you know it. :salute:
