My Dad picked up this car a few years ago after he sold the 68 Camaro that he had restored. So it became the newest project. Well I found a rebuilt 406ci SBC for pretty cheap, and picked it up. It's a pretty standard rebuild, tame cam, stock 2.02 iron heads, etc. Out of luck I found a cheap Weiand blower up in Denver, so I picked that up as well. I finished it off with a cheap set of rusted long tubes, a 750cfm Demon carburetor, and a full MSD boost ignition. It ran pretty strong after a screwdriver tune, it'll light up the tires through 1st 2nd and 3rd.
But now it's time for the restoration. My Dad got a jump on removing the front clip, and we'll be pulling the body off when my Fiero is out of the way.
