what sparkplugs are you using?
Same here, but I believe Im gapped at .040 or .035- I have an upgraded ignition though.Shaun41178(2) wrote:I am running stock ac delco plugs. R42TS
I have them gapped smaller around .025 I think.
But you have zero experience actually running the engine with boost.Aaron wrote:I am running AC Delco Rapidfires, stock gap and rating though.

boost and nitrous and you didn't even drop a heat range or two? you are braver than I, my friend
Nope. Haven't had to. Plugs aren't overheating? at all. They look just fine. No pinging, no detonation. Its all in the tune homie.Honest Don wrote:Shaun41178(2) wrote:I am running stock ac delco plugs. R42TS

I just noticed this, I have an upgraded ignition too. Crane Hi6 s with coil and MSD low ohm 8.8mm wires. I had to lower the gap because the turbo pumps a lot of air into the cylinder, more then your old ihi, plus I was running nitrous too so it takes cylinder pressures to a whole new level.FormulaGT wrote:Same here, but I believe Im gapped at .040 or .035- I have an upgraded ignition though.Shaun41178(2) wrote:I am running stock ac delco plugs.
