Might as well give it a try. s1 3800 sc (225 hp 260 tq version) for sale, must pick up. I'm selling the whole bonneville as a parts car, it comes with the engine, tranny, and wiring harness, but no computer. The interior's trashed and there aren't any wheels, so it will need to be trailered.

hey man,
just curious, what made you decide against using this for a swap?

Mainly the difficulty of the swap for the reward. This engine was kind of pushed onto me when my dad bought the car at a local auction, but I had always wanted to do a 3.4 dohc swap. Nothing has changed with my knowledge of this car to make me change my mind. If i did a sc 3800 swap i'd do a s2, because I know that i'd want more after I swapped it :thumbleft:

Yeah, that was one thing that kinda worried me when I posted it for sale, I'd never seen the thing turn over. I'm plannin on tearin it apart and seein what the problem was. If it isn't too bad maybe I'll scrap my 3.4 dohc plans after all and just build this sucker up, who knows.
