Yes, it been four years.....since we've had a terrorist attack. Shortly after 9/11, we were all for the "war on terror". But people are fickle, and have a short attention span.

If there was another attack tomorrow, everyone would be gung-ho again, for a few months anyway.

something has to blow up before the "war on terror" is going well, according to the public.

and no, I don't remember why the iraq war started... I think it was either terrorists, wmds, oil, or just because we can. Saddam hussein might be in there too, I forget.
