Not to brag...But my car looks GOOD

Post by Aaron »

I had my windows tined a week ago, and just washed it for the first time. And had to take a bunch of pictures. Words can't describe how much more I like this car than my Z34s. Tint is illegal at 15% for the side and back windows, and 5% on the rear quarters.

If you are going to have a sticker in the rear window it shouldn't be anything but REAL FIERO TECH. That is all. Car looks good though.

Wow, 15%.

You madman.

Good job of using the ambient light glare in every pic to cover the fact that 15% ain't shit. The windshield looks as tinted as the door glass in those pics.

Ambient light glare, wtf? I'm no photographer, half the pics I took look like crap.

Oh, and 15% is not only half of what is legal, but it is dark. It makes checking blind spots a real bitch because I can't see out of the 1/4 windows anymore. So yes, it isn't as dark as 5, but it also has already gotten me pulled over.

Thanks for the complements, and yes, the wheel gap is pretty bad and I look forward to lowering it. And STeven, it'll be done as soon as I get my maroon car done...Hence never...

I've thought about it, but I think I am going to put on some large aftermarket ovals like Stimpy has with the swap, they look really clean.

These are the money shots:

The first could be improved if you could find a place with smooth coloring to reflect in the side of the car. The reflection on the second shot is great because the hood and roof are flat enough to make a nice reflection. The side isn't flat enough to do that, so you'd need to reflect something with smooth coloring to make the most of that shot. If you could do it at sunset and put the horizon right on the trim strip, so you had earth below and sky above, that would be sweeeeeet.

Very nice. I've always thought it would look cool with tinted windows and tinted sail panels. I'm glad to see that it does. The thing is, I like tinted windows when I'm outside the vehicle looking at it, but not when I'm inside it driving it. When I'm inside I like to see out, even if I'm wearing sunglasses.

I like Stimpy's oval exhaust tips, too, but until you get to that point the stock megaphones look really sharp when they're polished up.

Yeah, why the hell does nobody polish their tips. I keep mine nice and shiney, but everybody else in our club up here has dull grey tips, it is like not cleaning your chrome rims ever, but polishing the rest of the car  .

Mine looked totally fubared. Some sandpaper and polishing later they came out like new.
