If it's a fake Ferrari, maybe he didn't actually drop 60 G's on it...
Looking at ebay, REAL 348's are in the 40 range, although spyders do climb into the 60's.

That's a mondial convertible.
1 step from the bottom of the barrel in the Ferrari world. The mondial coupe being the bottom, and the 308GTB being one step above it.
Low 30s, high 20s and expensive as hell to maintain if you don't do you're own work.
(If you do your own work, Ferrari's are cheap cheap cheap to own. You'll lose more money on a new corvette than you will a 5 YO Ferrari. You might even turn a profit. Shhh!)
