$1000 Wiring harness?

Post by Xanth »

Is it seriously worth "US $1,050.00 " ?

I didn't believe the N* swap wiring was supposed to be that big of a problem, that's fully half what i've seen the engine sell for.

For a bolt in Harness that works with no problems cut and spliced exactly how it needs to be done to fit a fiero that has already been done many times before by the same person selling that one? Money well spent.

Wow. I had no idea a harness would cost that much and be worth it. That's one of those expenses I probably would not anticipate when attempting a swap. I believe it though if you guys say its worth the money.

I'm getting one done for $500. I sent him a fiero harness and a Northstar harness. He is mating them up and set up for Ryans 7730 computer with his trans controller. If anyone is interested I'll ask him. He does seem to be swamped with orders and personal work. He told me up front that it would take a while. He has done several before, I just don't know if he wants anyone advertising for him.

I should put one of mine on ebay... See what it's really worth.

I just sold a complete N* setup (wiring w/computer) for $500

Whatever is in the pic is neither a Fiero harness nor a Northstar harness.

No bulkhead pass through
No C500
Wrong PCM connectors (should be three)
No connection to the manifold sub-harness

That *might* be an Ed Parks 4.9 harness, but I'm seriously doubtful about that.

That's me. I hope you like the forum. Advertising is fine. When (if) I get my car back on the road to do some design changes, I'm going to have the same place Ed Parks uses make harnesses for me. That should shorten production times considerably.
