It's a 4T60E and unless it has zero miles on the drivetrain its not worth anything close to $2500.

Used complete motor $800 - $1200 depending on mileage (if its over 50,000 its not worth more than $800 IMO).
Keep in mind crate motors pop up on ebay a lot for $900-$1200. Then one just needs a $100 pick-a-part motor for the manifolds and missing accessories and they have a complete engine with zero miles on the mechanical bits.

Not sure what the 4T60Es are going for...

Is the 283 fuel injected? Because you won't see a whole lot of use out of an electronically controlled transmission without an accompanying ecm. :salute:

He said paddle shifters. That means whipped's transmission controller.
