It was probably in gear when the kid got into it.. Like all mustangs and most manuals you have to push the clutch in to start it...He probably didnt realize and let the clutch out

It looks like the car was in gear and he popped the clutch after starting it. I guess he didn't realize you have to press it back in for the car not to move. That's one of those live and learn experiences both father and son will never forget. The damage to the car didn't look too bad and it's a good thing that was a detached garage or the car would have been inside the house. :thumbleft:

I guess from just having a four banger I've never experienced that... if i pop the clutch, my shit just stalls...
