I was hoping that I was not, that someone had worked it out. Did you come up with a substitute? I'm looking to change calipers and go to 12" rotors so I'd need a bracket to relocate the calipers anyway. I would like to have the Corvette lug spacing to make rotor swaps a straight on deal rather ...

88 spindle/Corvette hub

Has anyone tried to use a Corvette hub with an 88 spindle? That would solve the 88 Fiero hub obsolesence problem and be a conversion to Corvette bolt pattern for wheels and rotors. If not, does anyone have a "donor" spindle that they will send to me (I'll pay shipping) to use for an attempt?

88 Wheel bearings/hubs for 88GT

After getting the Konis, springs and urethane in over the weekend I took it for an alighment today. The shop called to tell me that the right wheel bearings/hub needs to be replaced and the left is not far behind. I checked Rock Auto, no listing. I did a search here and didn't find much. The choices...

The Konis are on, the springs are on, the urethane bushings are in. I asked for 350# springs but opened the box to find 400#, at least the front, the rears weren't marked. The ride is stiff, I mean STIFF, I mean REALLY STIFF. Nice and stiff. Man does it corner!!!! I drove over a dime on the way to w...

The steering rack bushings or grommets as they are referred to in the service manual, wrap around the steering rack and are the contact between the steering rack and the mounting brackets. They work the same way as the sway bar bushings. If the bushings are damaged as is the case on the right side o...

Urethane spring isolators

The Konis and WCF spring kit should be here any day. I'd like to replace the rubber spring isolators (pads) at the same time. Has anyone worked out urethane replacements or can point me in the right direction? Thanks

Steering rack rebuild\replace?????

The steering on my 88 GT is a little loose, not big time just not what I would like to be. The tie rods have a little play so they will get replaced, the rack mount bushings are shot, they will be replaced. The question is, where do you find a rebuilt or replacement steering rack? And is it worth th...

The springs are ordered. I went with the kit blkcofy posted with 350# springs. Also got the urethane kit for front and rear. Should help things along.

Thank for the input y'all.

What's next?

Suggestions?

Steering wheel replacement

My steering wheel is pretty much shot so I'd like to replace it. A repro would be ok but I wondering if there is an aftermarket steering wheel that fits without an adapter. I don't like moving the wheel closer to me. It would be ok if the wheel could be modified as long as structural integrity is ma...

[quote="blkcofy"]I bought a similar setup for my LS4 swap that Sinister Performance is doing for me. I have the Koni shocks and struts, and I got my springs and coilovers at West Coast Fiero. Based on all the research I did, these were the best performance/price for what I was looking for....
