Ooooo, shiny.

Spiffy new forum look. Anyone have any idea why my username changed? And if it's possible to change them, is it possible to drop the numbers altogether?

Interesting. Is there the ability to add a "new posts" button/search? Quick reply?

Friends and Foes? I haven't seen that yet.

I noticed we got rid of all the not real members. That's cool. Way better than having overinflated numbers like some forums have...

I changed it due to complications during the forum software migration. We had to actually change the structure of the data in the database. and yes, it's possible to drop the numbers ..

Its in the User Control Panel, seems you can block posts from people you don't want to see.

I like the added features, but the layout is awful. However I'm thinking you're working on that, so that it's more like the other forums around. As it is, it's really foreign and weird looking. Just not set up ergonomically I guess is what I'm trying to say.

Hey Howard, two things.

1. The new forum looks awesome, but runs slow.
2. Links no longer open in new tabs.

Is this new look due to a phpBB update? Not bad looking but it will take a little getting used to.

Brian, I haven't done any tuning yet, but it's probably the phenomenon known as new software/old hardware.

I'm not sure the links opening in new windows thing I can do anything about.

Yes, we upgraded the software to 3.0 of phpBB. We'll probably re-skin it.

Switch to subsilver2 if you don't like the default skin.

SubSilver2 looks better IMO, more like it was.
