you cant get 10:1 pistons aftermarket. Use the old ones. or get a set of custom high comp. ones made.

cams are the same. The head swap is not worth the cost. run the JY motor till it dies.

1994 Quad 4 HO + Getrag = obtain. More after I recover from heat exhaustion, dehydration, and not having eaten all day.

How'd you like that rear passenger engine mount/jackshaft setup.

what sort of mounting does your engine use? I think they changed it from 92+. the earlier ones used a hydraulic mount on the front of the block, and a rubber one with metal stoppers on the back under the water pump, and a suspended mount over the tranny. I think the 92" only use 1 engine mount, or at least one engine mount that attaches by the timing chain.

year to year the change happened in 92 when the front mount was replaced with the torque axis mount (timing chian housing). Other than that it should be the same. For the fiero, I think the best bet is to poly mount to the cradle with the front mount and ditch the torque axis mount. The Rear mount by the water pump could be retained. Use the rear mount like the fiero 2.8 rear mount with a custom bracket and the transmission would use the fiero 2 mounts.

beferarer how did you mount yours?

I used the 90-91 style mounts, using the stock hydraulic front mount from the Quad 4 and the stock Quad 4 rear mount, and stock rubber Fiero tranny mounts.
