.... of the road, just hanging around, next to a pair of Ferraris and some probably very expensive Audi.
And I stopped and took pictures.
I'm dead serious.
Posting them in a few.

I came upon this and did what any sane man would do: pull over immediately. If not driving, scream at the driver to slam on the brakes and turn sharply to the right (after passing the pretty cars of course). It was the latter for me, because we were in my girlfriend's car.
The second Ferrari (pretty much identical to the first, except the badge on the right side of the rear grille) showed up a few minutes later.

XP1 was destroyed while testing and XP2 was the crash test car. XP3 survives as a promotional car along with XP4 (this one, obviously) and XP5 (the 240mph record car).
Ooooooo... pretty.
The F1 waits for a gap in the traffic before heading off. (yeah, these photos aren't all in chronological order. Bite me.)
One of the Ferraris heads off.
As one of the Ferraris left a Pantera drove by.

Besides a minor difference in the rear bumper (this one has a wider space for the license plate) the only difference I could see between this Ferrari and the other was the badge on the right side of the rear grille. I can't make out that last word. Any ideas? I also still haven't figured out what country those plates are from.
Suede has never looked so good.
See the "I" in the oval? That's Italy m'boy! And the Badge says "Challenge Stradale", which is Ferarri's version of Porsche's ClubSport, basically a street legal race car.

Yep, this is a great weekend for car nuts. You were smart and lucky to have your camera. I'm headed down to Monterey today to take pics. This weekend is the Christie's Classic Car Auction, and the Monterey Historic Races. Expect a lot of cool pics to come out of this weekend.
Great shots, right clicking, saving as we speak.

They all show up on the office computer.
Dude, don't be bashin' the hacked atari for web surfing. I don't get any of these dam Windoze viruses that go around like the village ho.
Awesome pics. That center driver's seat is Teh Secks :3some:
That's why the McLaren's the best ever. Gordon Murray was willing to go the extra mile and throw conventional design away, not just spend gratuitous amounts of money like Ferrari does.

Thanks for the appreciation. :thumbleft:
I fixed the one pic that I forgot to upload. Not sure why they all aren't working for some folks. If anyone can't get them to work at all just send me a message on AIM (perfectworld8217) or MSN (series8217@hotmail.com) and I'll send the pics to you.

You shoulda pulled a cal kid and parked your fiero right next to the McLaren. Took some pictures. And then posted them and said, "Yeah, they guy thought my car was cool and not a bucket of GM bolts from the 80s and didn't even call bullshit on my 400 horse claim and then we gave thumbs up and hand jobs all around."
Interesting they changed the diffuser on the stradale from the regular 360.
Cool pics. Thanks for sharing.

Dude, were you there today? I must have just missed you. I was in all these places you took pics at this afternoon because I left my credit card at the Jamba Juice in downtown and went over to pick it up.
Fucking awesome. Don't you love seeing this stuff without having to pay for a ticket to some show?

One of one. The program was never completed due to the GT40 coming along instead.
This dude has nerves of steel. That's not a Trans Am Javelin, that's THE Trans Am Javelin. As in Peter Revson, driver. This is an expensive parking lot scratch he's negotiating against.
