wit twin gt42's (my estimate) on a 383 making over 1800 RWHP

yeah i'd say its bad ass - to the point of being pointless since you'd never get traction

Is that a Monaro? or is it in America.

Yeah, I agree it is pointless. Proabably cant even do a good drag pass to show the HP.

Nope, Holden Ute. You can tell by the headlights and fenderline. Not that the Ford is any better for going 170 mph.

So now trucks can't be fast? Weird, I swore I saw the Silverado HD run a flat 12 last time I was at the track.
Wow, and that was at 160 mph plus? Just shut up. You're making a statement that this car is made for blasting away everything over 160 mph and not just sitting on a dyno to make numbers. That's not something that I'd want to be driving at 160 mph with great big gaping holes in the hood. Its a 6000 pound rig with probably an assload of ballast in the bed just to keep some kind of traction on the rollers. Yeah, pickups can be fast. But it's just about the stupidest vehicle to try to make go fast. Tahat is a dyno queen, pure and simple.

I suppose this van is just for bumpin some tunes?

Stimpy, you know its just a Commodore with a truck bed right? Same chassis. They're not heavy. They're not huge. No reason not to make one fast.
Heck, it's not even really a pickup truck. it's a coupe ute. Like an El Camino.

Even so..

Last I checked it was running low 8's at 170-180 mph on street tires....Seems pretty quick to me...

I like the blast shields on either side of the car. Because you know something is gonna blow up....

Well for 1800 hp it bloody well fucking oughta be. It would probably do that with that VW's stereo system mounted in the bed. There's a difference between quick and fast. I think it's great. I want one. Makes about as much sense as mint flavored Drano, but that's what hotrodding is about to some people.

The tire on the front of that van is on backwards.
